Daniel Atha, Director of Conservation Outreach at The New York Botanical Garden, will present a talk about its  EcoFlora project (an effort to document all of the plant species that call our City home and the threats that face them).  Join the discussion about nature in NYC and how we can all work together for the same conservation goals.   There should be time for experimentation with a short field trip for items of special interest to the APEC membership.  If you are a user of the phone app found at www.inaturalist.org, you will hear of its use in NYC conservation efforts.
