APEC Explorers – Bodacious Biologists Edition
Entering 3rd – 4th grade
Session 2 – Extreme Ecosystems
Explorers will learn about ecosystems with a focus on female environmentalists, including Isatou Ceesay and Wangari Maathai, and their incredible impact on our planet. Field investigation will be used to supplement each session and encourage an appreciation for the natural environment. Explorers should bring a snack, bottle of water, head covering, wear long pants and have sunscreen and insect repellant applied prior to drop off. Limited to 14 participants.
