APEC Explorers – Bodacious Biologists Edition
Entering 3rd – 4th grade
Session 1 – Incredible Invertebrates
Explorers will discover the fascinating world of insects, annelids, mollusks, arachnids and crustaceans that inhabit our trails. Hands-on field investigation, outdoor excursions, use of scientific tools and journal entries will all be used to supplement each session and encourage an appreciation for the natural environment. Explorers should bring a snack, bottle of water, head covering, wear long pants and have sunscreen and insect repellant applied prior to drop off. Limited to 14 participants.
