2022 GREAT BACKYARD BIRD COUNT

Calling all junior ornithologists.  Join us for the 2022 Great Backyard Bird Count!  Meet your APEC educator walk leader at the front deck of the Nature Center.  Using binoculars, the children will participate in a guided walk to observe, identify, and tally the birds seen along our trails.  Each junior birder will walk away with a copy of The Cornell Lab of Ornithology Bird Sleuth Explorer’s Guidebook. Masks are highly recommended for this all outdoor program.  Spots are limited.   

Proof of vaccination is required for anyone 5 and up in order to enter our building. A matching ID will also be required for anyone 18 and up. Masks must be worn by all adults and children, 2 and up, inside our building.  

Ages:  6 - 10

Fee:  $10 per participant

Ages:6-10, drop-off  |   $10 per child
