Alley Pond Environmental Center is a nonprofit, environmental education organization in Queens. Since 1976, we have been dedicated to educating children and adults in the New York metropolitan area, protecting and preserving Alley Pond Park, open spaces and waterbodies, and advocating for sustainable environmental policies and practices. 2026 marks our 50th Anniversary!

We thank you for your continued support over these past 50 years and for celebrating with us during this momentous occasion in our history!

This year, our annual Green Gala is Thursday, May 7th, 2026.

We hope we can count on you to support this event which allows us to continue to offer the environmental education programs for more than 72,000 children and adults per year.
