Chilly Challenges
Do you enjoy walking in a winter wonderland? Through this course, we will examine the seasonal adaptations of a variety of animals and explore how they eke out a living in the harshest season of the year. Together we will investigate the strange migratory instincts of birds, whales, and butterflies and the hibernating habits of chipmunks, bears, and reptiles. Lastly, we will be on the lookout for animals that stay active year-round on our multiple nature walks. Crafts, scavenger hunts, and STEM activities will be included! Please dress warmly and bring snacks and a labeled bottle of water. Participants are required to wear masks for the entire program. Limited to 10 children.
