Early Morning Summer Solstice Walk

Tuesday, June 21st, 8:00 am – 9:30 am

Celebrate the Summer Solstice as we usher in the new season with an early morning guided walk led by Jocelyn Perez, Herbalists Without Borders (HWB) NYC Queens Chapter Coordinator, naturalist, and conservationist. She will discuss plant species found in the park, especially those associated with the Solstice and its traditional folklore. Registration required. Recommended to bring: a notebook and pencil, camera, and water bottle.

 ​Mask wearing for anyone 5 years and older is optional.  Masks must be worn by all children, 2-4 years of age in our building. Spots are limited, pre-registration is required.

Ages:  Adults and dogs on a leash

Fee:  $15 per person

Cancellation Policy
Program fees are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be given for any missed programs. If APEC is notified within one week that the registrant cannot attend or if APEC cancels the program, a registration credit for the amount of the class will be applied to your account to be used for future APEC program registration.
