Young Naturalists
Fall Homeschool Group: Ages 9 - 11
Drop off
Time: 1:30pm - 3:00pm
Why is the environment important? What happens if people do not respect our trails and parks? This season we will talk about why our outdoor spaces are important and why we should advocate for them. We will talk about different animals and plants that inhabit these spaces as well as the people that work to keep them maintained. Every week we will meet an animal, go on a nature walk and complete a worksheet, craft or experiment. Be sure to dress appropriately for the nature walk every week. Space is limited. This program is intended to foster independence for your child. Parents are not permitted in the classroom. If your child is not ready for a drop-off program, please register for a future session.
