The last date for registration has passed.

Adults and children 14 and up. This course, led by members of the Glen Oaks Volunteer Ambulance Corps, teaches this AHA training the lifesaving skills of adult hands-only CPR and is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a CPR course completion card to meet a job requirement. This is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life. Each student will receive a take home workbook for future reference. Limited to 12 participants. Free childcare provided upon request at time of registration.  Funds raised from this program will go towards children’s programming and animal care.  $10

Cancellation Policy
Missed or Cancelled Classes: No refunds or credits will be given for any missed programs. If APEC is notified within one week that the registrant cannot attend or if APEC cancels the program, a registration credit the amount of the class will be applied to you account to be used for future APEC program registration. Refunds will only be applied to multi-session programs if the spot is filled. If the spot in the program is not filled, a credit will be applied to your account. A $25 cancellation processing fee will be deducted from the total refunded or credited. Make-Up Policy: There are NO make-up classes for single session programs. A make-up session is only offered for children attending multi-session early childhood programs during the Fall, Winter or Spring. Only ONE make-up program is available, regardless of how many classes a child misses. At the start of the semester, parents will be given a handout with the make-up class date. In order to attend the make-up session, you must notify the Early Childhood Coordinator at (718) 229-4000 ext. 207 to sign up for the class. Notification is required so adequate staff and materials are prepared.
