Geologist Jacob’s Gems Galore!
Ages 9-13
This class is going to be a fun one! We're going to learn about how gems are born, how they are mined, and how they make it into our jewelry and help us in our daily lives! Please excuse the pun, but special FACETS of this program include: getting a chance to meet and take pictures with your birthstone, learning how to test and ID many different types of rocks, and bringing in your rocks/fossils/minerals from home to be identified by an expert! This class will take place indoors, and children are required to wear masks for the entire program. Limited to 8 children.
