Hands-On Calendula Salve Making Workshop

Saturday, January 14th, 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Learn how to make your own calendula salve! You will come away from this class with an understanding of how to harvest, dry & use calendula (aka Marigold). The energetics and myriad of uses for this plant will be discussed, as well as how to use it to make a handcrafted salve. There will be a calendula tea tasting followed by a demonstration on creating a salve. Each participant will take home a one-ounce container of salve and know how to easily make more at home!

Instructor: Annie Mascia is a Certified Aromatherapist & Teacher and has held a number of aromatherapy classes at APEC. She loves making homemade products and runs a small aromatherapy business called La Strega Buona out of Astoria, NY. Check out her website at www.lastregabuona.com​
