How to Catch a Turkey

Grades – 1^st- 3^rd

Are you up for a challenge? In this engaging class participants will design and build a trap to catch a turkey (don’t worry, it’s not a real turkey) as they listen to the perfect companion book How To Catch a Turkey by Adam Wallace. After completing the challenge, the group will head out for a nature scavenger hunt. Animal meet and greet will be the perfect way to end the morning. All materials included. This program will be held mostly outdoors and is a drop off program. Children are required to wear masks for the entire program. Limited to 8 participants.

Cancellation Policy

Program fees are non-refundable. No refunds or credits will be given for any missed programs. If APEC is notified within one week that the registrant cannot attend or if APEC cancels the program, a registration credit the amount of the class will be applied to you account to be used for future APEC program registration.
