Residential Solar Energy -- The Time is Now

The time to consider solar panels on the roof of your home is now.  With energy costs steadily rising, and government incentives at an all-time high, this is an ideal moment for homeowners to learn more about the technology and economics of residential solar.  Typical residential installations require no money down, functioning much like a mortgage, with monthly payments that are offset by significant savings on homeowners’ electric bills.  Current Federal and State government tax incentives will reduce the installation cost dramatically; New York City residents who install solar will also see a substantial property tax reduction.  Solar installations enable residents to reduce dependence on electricity generated by burning fossil fuels.  This informative program will be led by Rosario Romano, a solar expert with the Long Island-based firm of NGS Solar, and Walter Mugdan, APEC Board member and recently retired senior official with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
