As we all know, being outdoors decreases the risk of spreading COVID-19 significantly. With that in mind, we at APEC are offering new outdoor only programs to continue learning about nature in a safe environment for your children and our staff.

The Animal Club

Ages 8-12, drop-off

Join the Animal Care Coordinator of APEC as he teaches about the various animal ambassadors that call our environmental center home. Learn about their diets, adaptations, and how we take care of these amazing animals in this new outdoor class. Children are required to wear masks.  Please note: There will be NO access to the APEC building or bathrooms.  This is a drop-off class and will take place entirely outside. Due to the current situation with COVID-19, children will not be permitted to pet the live animal guests. Limited to 8 children.
