Vet Tech 101 – Intelligence

Come join us for this Vet Tech class focusing on intelligence! Not only will students learn about animal health basics and animal handling, but a new emphasis will be placed on animal cognition! Students will get to learn about different forms of intelligence, which animals are smarter than others, and the cognitive needs of our animal ambassadors! Students will also learn how to check to make sure the animals are receiving proper cognitive stimulation by giving them examinations. Our Vet Tech students will learn the ins and outs of keeping some of the most common pet animals in peak medical condition. ​Masks must be worn by all adults and children, 2 and up, for the entire program. Proof of vaccination is required for anyone 5 and up in order to enter our building. A matching ID will also be required for anyone 18 and up. Space is limited.
