Vet Tech 101 – Nutrition

Come join us for this new spin on an old class! Not only will students learn about animal health basics and animal handling, but a new emphasis will be placed on animal feedings! Students will get to learn about the nutritional needs of our animals and learn how to feed some of the many animals that call APEC home! Students will also learn how to check to make sure the animals are receiving the right amount of nutrition by giving them examinations. Our Vet Tech students will learn the ins and outs of keeping some of the most common pet animals in peak medical condition. Students are required to wear masks for the entire program. Spots are limited.
