Vet Tech 101 - Nutrition

Come join us for this Vet Tech class focusing on nutrition! Not only will students learn about animal health basics and animal handling, but a new emphasis will be placed on animal feedings! Students will get to learn about the nutritional needs of our animals and learn how to feed some of the many animals that call APEC home! Students will also learn how to check to make sure the animals are receiving the right amount of nutrition by giving them examinations. Our Vet Tech students will learn the ins and outs of keeping some of the most common pet animals in peak medical condition. Masks must be worn by all adults and children, 2 and up, for the entire program. Proof of vaccination is required for anyone 5 and up in order to enter our building. A matching ID will also be required for anyone 18 and up. Space is limited.
