As we all know, being outdoors decreases the risk of spreading COVID-19 significantly. With that in mind, we at APEC are offering new outdoor only programs to continue learning about nature in a safe environment for your children and our staff.

Critter Care

Ages 5-7, drop-off

Is your child an animal-lover?  Is your child interested in caring for animals?  Send them to APEC to learn the basics of animal care in this new outdoor class.  Children will learn about different animals and gain a better understanding about their specialized care. Children are required to wear masks.  Please note: There will be NO access to the APEC building or bathrooms.  This is a drop-off class and will take place entirely outside. Due to the current situation with COVID-19, children will not be permitted to pet the live animal guests. Limited to 8 children.
